This programme provides exceptional pre- and postoperative physical rehabilitation to optimise surgical outcomes. It also allows healthcare professionals to work more closely together to improve follow-up throughout the patient’s care.
It can be applied to all medical specialities, but is particularly well developed in the fields of orthopaedics, senology and for treating obesity. It offers expert protocols designed together with rehabilitation specialists and doctors.
With this in mind, LPG Systems is constantly promoting the role of physiotherapists and encouraging their collaboration with prescribers throughout France.
Through these actions, we are proud to contribute to the development of integrative health, in perfect harmony with the mission of LPG Systems: health and wellness.
Step 1
I CONSULT MY SURGEON
Following their diagnosis, the surgeon prescribes pre-operative physical rehabilitation sessions. My surgeon gives me the physiotherapist’s follow-up booklet, which will follow me until I make a full recovery.
Step 2
I DO MY PRE-OPERATIVE PREPARATION
at a physiotherapist near me. Depending on my condition, my physiotherapist will adapt the treatments, with the help of Cellu M6 Alliance® and Huber 360® Evolution, so that I am as prepared as I can be for the operation. The notes in my follow-up booklet will be used by the medical team.
Step 3
I CHECK INTO THE HOSPITAL RELIEVED AND PREPARED
The surgical procedure is optimised. I’m back on my feet before I know it and ready to go home.
Step 4
I MEET UP WITH MY REFERRING PHYSICIAN TO COMPLETE MY PHYSICAL REHABILITATION
I continue my rehabilitation programme. Thanks to effective and personally-tailored treatment, I soon regain my independence. Participating in this programme has put all the chances on my side to return to a normal life as soon as possible.
For all common orthopaedic procedures:
This is a medical document given to the patient during the surgical consultation. Its aim is to improve patient care. It informs and educates patients about their rehabilitation programme.
It specifies the chronology of care and the surgeon’s indications, and provides pre- and postoperative monitoring through check-ups. It represents a genuine link between the physiotherapist and the surgeon.
We can see the relevance of LPG® technologies.
